Nightlife magazine is a 4-monthly news sheet devoted to the astronomers and astronomical societies in the south of England, UK. It was started in early 1995, on the basis it wouldn't last more than two issues, but people started sending in subscriptions!

We are currently 'on a break' since Issue 30 last year, while we gather our strength for the next 30 issues, but please be patient - issue 31will be out this year! In the meantime, feel free to read or print off free back issues of the magazine - we're sure you will enjoy them. Please let us know your views.

Nightlife informs readers what's going on in astronomy circles in the south - not just the observing, but the social side as well! (and we're not averse to a good rumour or two, as long as the issue is not clouded by too many facts!).

Nightlife runs like a newspaper. We contact every astro society in the area for newsworthy items, and then follow up by ringing or visiting the 'leads' given, and writing the articles ourselves. It is edited by Pete Seiden with the rest of the staff run by Graham Bryant. Between us, we travel a lot miles, take a lot of pictures and meet some great astronomers.

Nightlife is just 40p per issue (plus 20p P&P). Send a cheque to the postal address below (£5 or £10 are nice round sums, made payable to Nightlife) and then wait with bated breath for the next issue to arrive.

Nightlife is cheaper when purchased in multiples. You even get eleven copies for the price of ten, plus the postage is free, or you get thirty for the price of twenty-five. In some cases, we will supply multiple copies on a sale or return basis - contact Nightlife for details.
